SALEM, MA -- The Salem Transfer Station on Swampscott Road will be closing for the winter at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 20. Until that date, Salem residents with proof of residency will be able to continue to drop off yard waste at the station on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
