Ukraine Vigil Planned For Salem Church This Weekend

SALEM, MA — A vigil in support of the people of Ukraine amid the Russian invasion will be held at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Church in Salem on Sunday night.

The vigil will begin at 6 p.m. following the liturgy at 4 p.m. St. John's is located at 24 Bridge Street.

St. John's has also provided a series of links for North Shore residents who would like to support the Ukrainian people in prayer or with donations:

Save the Children

This group is raising money for the millions of Ukrainian children who are in grave danger of physical harm, severe emotional distress and displacement following the escalation in hostilities. It provides food, blankets, and emergency shelter tools to children and their families.
