Vehicle Hits Pedestrian, Wrong Way Street Violation: Salem Police Logs

Dec. 9
2:14 a.m.: Police units responded to 12 Broadway for a commercial alarm. Officers checked all doors and found them to be secure
8:18 a.m.: Police responded to the intersection of Broadway and Loring Avenue on a report of a vehicle-pedestrian accident. The pedestrian related that he was walking South on Loring Avenue and crossed Broadway when he was struck by a vehicle. The operator of the vehicle stated he was traveling east towards Loring Avenue then stopped at the intersection. The operator told police that he looked both and proceeded slowly before bumping into the pedestrian. The pedestrian was transported to Salem Hospital by Atlantic Ambulance. The operator was cited for failing to yield for a pedestrian.

3:23 p.m.: Police responded to Wilfred Terrace for a well being check. A woman was found and everything checked out.
Dec. 11
1:07 p.m.: Police issued a summons to an operator for driving with a revoked license and a wrong way street violation after a traffic stop. The vehicle was towed by Bills Towing and a citation was issued.

1:54 a.m.: Police responded to Harbor Street for a noise complaint. The offending residence was located and agreed to turn music down.
Arrests
Dec. 10, 2 p.m.: Michael J. Daley, 33, of Ocean Avenue in Revere was arrested for larceny over $250.
Dec. 9, 5:55 p.m.: Geronimo Confesor Espinal, 38, of Salem was arrested on charges of possession with intent to distribute a Class A substance (subsequent offense), Possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance (subsequent offense) and a drug violation near a school/park.
Dec. 10, 5:30 p.m.: Richard R. Gonyea, 29, Homeless was arrested on a warrant
