Good morning to you all my fine and dear friends!
Legacy! We all in our own way, do hope and pray, that along someday, we would all leave behind us in the living wake of our lives some form of a legacy of ourselves, an imprint of our moment here, some meaning that was carved by us throughout our existence while we were here.
It’s not a new theme of life you know. As far back as humankind goes, at least in some meaningfully romantic and esoteric sense, humankind has always sought to leave something of ourselves behind after we depart for lands beyond the sea of life.

Perhaps “what” we leave behind us in our path isn’t really as important as the “qualities of being” that we have painted while being here?
As we live many of us get all caught up into getting, gaining, acquiring, possessing, controlling, commanding, and manipulating all of what we can in order to create things as ‘WE” wish them to be.

Perhaps as the eastern traditions have taught, the most important of things we could ever expect to carve of ourselves into the imprint of the history of the world is to add the best and the most magnificent of ourselves to the beauty, to the natural flow, to the Feng Shui of the universe as a result of our individual presence?
We all have affected the lives of someone in our days, of others, we all have changed the world just a bit due to our being here if even in the slightest of ways. If we move a pebble on a beach as we walk along its calm and serene setting, does this mean that we have changed it unalterably and left something of ourselves that will live on through the ages in our absence?
If each of us chose to move a pebble, or a bit of sand on this same beach through our days however through the path of our collective lifetimes, what then would the presence of this beach portray to the universe?
Yes, we all have a lasting effect upon the world, and upon the lives of others no matter how much or how little we think we have done along our way!
Perhaps if we all seek to merely shine at our most brilliant as we live our lives, doing what we can at our best for ourselves and others, and through this trusting that what we leave due to this living effort, we will leave a bit of the best of ourselves?
Today, as you move about, as you view the old buildings and the new, as you think on the lives that were lived, the sacrifices, the losses, the trials and the triumphs that were made by those who built, those who created, those who nurtured and those who moved on, remember that you too are right now leaving your imprint upon this place where legends were born!
This is worth continuing a smile today yes?
