What's Open, Closed On Christmas Day In Salem

SALEM, MA -- Salem city hall and other administrative office will close for the Christmas holiday at 11:30 am on Thursday, December 21 and not reopen until 9 am on Tuesday, December 26. In addition, curbside trash and recycling pickup will be delayed one day during the week of December 25.
City hall will close at 11:30 am on Friday, December 29 for New Year's Eve and be closed all day on Monday, January 1 for New Year's. Curbside trash and recycling pickup will be delayed one day during the week of January 1.
Salem schools close for the holiday recess at dismissal on Friday, December 22. Schools will reopen on Tuesday, January 2.
