Where To Go On North Shore For Thanksgiving Meals For Those In Need
Several North Shore organizations have once again stepped forward this year to provide residents a hot holiday meal.
SALEM, MA — Several North Shore organizations and their volunteers are once again taking time out of their holiday season to make sure those in need are able to enjoy a hot meal on Thanksgiving.
All meals are free of charge and all are welcome. Some protocols may be specific to each organization. After some COVID-19-related restrictions over the past two years, all services are being offered in person or to-go this year.
The Citizens Inn Haven From Hunger on Wallis Street in Peabody is offering a sit-down meal starting with soup and appetizers on Thanksgiving morning at 11 a.m. The main meal will be provided between noon and 12:30 p.m. in the second floor dining room with elevator service available. Take-home meals are also available beginning at 12:30.

Brother's Deli on Market Street in Lynn is offering take-home meals from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.
My Brother's Table on Willow Street in Lynn is offering to-go meals from noon to 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. No additional volunteers are needed for the day at this time, however, volunteer opportunities are welcomed for the rest of the year. Extra meals will be available for friends, neighbors and others in need who are unable to pick up meals for themselves.

The Friends of Salem Council on Aging is offering home-delivered Thanksgiving meals to city seniors. Contact Rosanna Donahue at 978-744-0924 to register for a meal before Nov. 18. The Council is working with Brothers Taverna to provide the meals.
Lifebridge on Margin Street in Salem is offering holiday meals at their Day Center between noon and 2 p.m. for those with reservations. To register drop by the Day Center by Nov. 18 or call 978-744-0500.
Gina's Giving Back of Peabody will also once again be providing meals for people to bring home and cook in their own homes. To sign up for a meal contact Gina at ginam75@icloud.com with a name, address, phone number and number of people in your household by Nov. 18. Singles in need of a "heat and eat" meal can also contact Gina for a precooked meal.
