• MassDOT provides updates on Salisbury Route 1, Lowell Rourke Bridge projects (wcvb.com) — If you drive Route 1 through Salisbury, expect construction to stretch into next season as MassDOT finishes paving, sidewalks, lighting, and signal upgrades along Lafayette Road. The agency also shared that Lowell's Rourke Bridge replacement remains on schedule for a 2029 opening, and invited residents to send in other transportation questions they want answered. 
• Communities weather weekend nor'easter well (cnhi.com) — Salisbury's public works director says the town came through the weekend nor'easter with only minor coastal flooding and scattered limbs, avoiding road closures and major power outages. Crews had chainsaws, vehicles, and barricades ready but ultimately weren't needed, while nearby Newburyport saw a few downed trees, brief outages, and cleanup work after strong winds and heavy rain.
