Berkley Dighton Bridge Closing on Monday
Traffic will be diverted along detour routes during the time of the closure.

The Berkley Dighton Bridge will be closed on Monday, Jan. 12 through Tuesday, Jan. 13 from the hours of 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Traffic will be diverted along detour routes during the time of the closure.
Traffic from Dighton to Berkley will head north along MA-138 N and turn right onto 5th Street to continue onto W Water Street. From there, traffic will head southeast on Plain Street toward E Water Street, and continue south on E Water Street toward Berkley Street. Making a sight left onto Berkley Street, traffic will follow through the end of the detour arriving at the Berkley Street/Elm Street intersection.

Traffic from Berkley to Dighton will head northeast on Berkley Street toward Desautels Court, making a slight right onto E Water Stree. From there, traffic will head northwest on Plain Street toward W Water Street, and after that travel southwest on W Water Street toward Staples Avenue. Making a light right onto 5th Street, traffic will turn left onto Somerset Ave, continue onto Lawton Avenue, and continue onto MA-138 S/Somerset Ave arriving at the Center Street intersection.
MassDOT encourages drivers to avoid the area and seek alternate routes to minimize delays. Those traveling through the area should expect delays and should reduce speed and use caution while traveling along the detour routes.
