Originally founded as a workforce development program, MTTI continues to train students for positions in industries that have a skills shortage or are projected to grow.
Curriculum for each program is developed with employers and industry specialists, who also review the program twice yearly to ensure that equipment and skill sets are current with hiring needs. Instructors have many years of experience in their trade or industry. Classes are smaller for more personal attention. Students spend more than 50% of time learning hands-on in the shop or lab. Career Services works with students throughout the program to help them craft a professional resume, practice interviewing and search for training-related positions.

In its newly renovated facility on Route 6 in Seekonk—and with exceptionally dedicated and caring staff—MTTI strives to provide a place that helps people change their lives.

Joe Mello, HVAC/R Technician 2013 Graduate, and Service Apprentice for CARJON Air Conditioning and Heating wrote, “I felt incredibly well prepared for learning as an entry-level Technician in this industry.
