New Market Basket in South Attleboro is Hiring
The new store will bring hundreds of jobs to the surrounding community.

Market Basket’s new store in South Attleboro is getting ready to open by the holiday season and is now looking for employees.
The store looks to hire about 400 employees, the Sun Chronicle reported.
The new Market Basket, located at the Bristol Place shopping plaza, expects open the store before Thanksgiving.

Employees would receive training at nearby Market Basket chains.
If Market Basket does not hire new employees before the holiday season, the company said it will delay the opening of the South Attleboro chain to 2015, the Boston Herald reported.

The supermarket’s construction was completed in March, but the store’s opening was delayed due to the Market Basket unrest over the summer.
Employees staged six-week-long walkouts to protest the firing of CEO Arthur T. Demoulas.
Now that Demoulas was reinstated as Market Basket CEO in August ,the supermarket chain is ready to open new stores in Revere, Athol, Revere, Middleton in addition to South Attleboro, the Herald reported.
