Alan Charles Souza, 52 of Swansea, died April 14, 2013 at Charlton Memorial Hospital, he was the loving companion of Heidi Phillips.

Born in Swansea MA, son of the late John Almedia and Lillian (Costa) Souza. Alan served in U.S. Navy; he was a cook for his own restaurant, Fresh Catch Seafood. He was an avid poker player, loved to fish and shellfish, loved baseball; he was a coach for Swansea Little League and attended Case High school. 

Besides Heidi, he was survived by two sons, Trevor and Shawn, four brothers, Frank, Kenneth, John, and Ronald, five sisters, Victoria, Debra, Doreen, Kim and Brenda and a grandson, Hunter, a daughter in-law Ashley and numerous nieces and nephews. He also was the father of the late Heather Souza, and brother of the late Joseph.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 6 p.m, in the Boule Funeral Home, 615 Broadway, Fall River, MA. Visitation will be held prior to service from 3-6 p.m..
