Obituary: Andre E. Paquette
Andre E. Paquette served in the United States Army in World War II under the command of George Patton.

Andre E. Paquette, 87, of Swansea died Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. He was the husband of the late Theresa (Saucier) Paquette.

Andre was born in Swansea the son of the late Albert and Esma (Lebouef) Paquette. He served his country during WWII with the Unites States Army under the command of General George Patton.
Mr. Paquette worked at Harodite Industries in Dighton for more than 30 years as a back frame tender until his retirement in 1984. He was a communicant of Saint Louis de France Church in Swansea. Mr. Paquette was an avid gardener and cherished the time he spent with his family and friends.

Survivors are a son, Paul A. Paquette and his wife Karen of Swansea, MA; two grandchildren: Tyler and Benjamin: a sister: Rejeane Dufour of Dallas, TX; along with many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Rheaume Paquette.
His Funeral Service was held March 18 from the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset, followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10am in Saint Louis de France Church, 56 Buffinton St., Swansea.Burial with military honors was in Mount Hope Cemetery in Swansea.
