Obituary: Gabriela Almeida

Gabriela Almeida, 69, of South Seekonk, died June 16, 2013 unexpectedly. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mariana (Perreira) Almeida. Gabriela worked as a cashier at Wal-Mart, Swansea and previously worked for Reliable Sportswear as a supervisor. She was a parishioner of St. Michael Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Ann Almeida of North Seekonk; her sister: Germaine Piexoto of Fall River; three grandchildren: Lee Edmund St. Pierre (fiancée Celina Caron), Jarred Leo St. Pierre, and James Lee St. Pierre; nieces and nephews: Raymond Piexoto of Fall River, Lucille Piexoto of Seekonk, Andrea and Scott Levesque both of Assonet, and the late Louis Soares. She was the sister of the late Edmund Almeida, Mary Soares, and Fernanda Levesque.

Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc.,  1521 N. Main St., Fall River, Thursday  at 8 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church at 9 a.m. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
