Manuel J. Rose, age 89 of Swansea, died March 6, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Florence E. (Morro) Rose and the son of the late Manuel G. and Louise (Miguel) Rose. Prior to retiring, Manuel worked in Maintenance for Raytheon.
In addition to his wife, Florence, of Swansea, he is survived by his brother, Frank J. Rose of Middletown, RI and his sister, Mary Morro of Swansea; seven nieces, two nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.
His funeral took place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River, March 11, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John of God Church. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Somerset.
