Obituary: Marilyn C. (Shaw) Farias

Marilyn C. (Shaw) Farias, 84, of Swansea passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Wishart and Joseph E. Farias.

Marilyn was born in Chester, South Carolina the daughter of the late Edwin and Beatrice (Danager) Shaw. She worked for the Town of Swansea for many years as a clerk, until she retired several years ago. Mrs. Farias was also a member of Christ Church in Swansea for many years.

She is survived by three daughters: Susan Boutin of Somerset,; Wendy Keighley and her husband James of Somerset,; Terri-Ann Farias of Swansea,: a sister: Beatrice Jewell of Charleston, SC; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren along with a niece and a nephew.

Calling hours for Marilyn will be held Tuesday from 9-10 a.m. in the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11am in Christ Church, Main Street, Swansea. Relatives and friends are invited to attend, burial to follow in Christ Church Cemetery.
