• Bernard Wasserman, 96 (jewishrhody.com) — A local family in Seekonk is mourning the loss of Bernard "Bernie" Wasserman, whose son Richard and his wife Kristiana live in town. Bernie, a Navy veteran and longtime real estate developer from Providence, was 96 and known for his devotion to family, especially cheering on his grandchildren's sports. His family suggests donations in his memory to a Dana-Farber Cancer Institute fund.
