Brockton Man Killed In 3-Car Sharon Crash, 4 Injured

The Brockton man was dead when police arrived. Another crash victim had to be air-lifted. Two people were trapped inside a truck and van.

SHARON, MA — A 58-year-old Brockton man was killed in a three-car crash Friday morning, while another four people suffered serious injuries, according to Sharon Fire officials. The crash happened on North Main Street near Chive Drive.

Two people were trapped in cars when police arrived. Police said one person was trapped inside a pickup truck on its roof, while another was trapped inside a van.

The Brockton man was driving one of the vehicles and was dead when emergency personnel arrived, according to fire officials. One person was airlifted to Boston Medical Center, while the other three injured were taken by ambulance to a local hospital. Sharon Fire Captain Bert Cummings Cummings described the injuries as "serious but not life-threatening."
