• Sharon Water Restrictions Remain In Place (patch.com) — Sharon residents are being reminded that mandatory outdoor water-use restrictions remain in effect through October 1, limiting watering to handheld hoses before 9 a.m. or after 5 p.m. Despite recent rain and healthy local well levels, the town remains in a state-designated Level 2 Significant Drought region, and violations can bring escalating fines. Public playing fields and agricultural uses are exempt, but state officials are pressing for further water conservation.
