Here are the highlights of the Sharon Fire log.
Saturday night's fire at Bass Pro Shops in Foxborough was the bigger of two fires reported to the Sharon Fire Department last week. At 6:18 p.m. Thursday, July 5, firefighters responded to 2601 Bay Road for a reported cooking fire confined to the container, according to the Sharon Fire log. Firefighters restored the fire alarm system. Here are the other highlights of the Sharon Fire log for July 1 to July 7, courtesy of the Sharon Fire Department: On Sunday, July 1 at 11:04 a.m., firefighters responded to Moose Hill Parkway for a reported vehicle accident with injuries, and transported one person to the hospital. At 6:39 p.m., EMS responded to 168 Ames St., and transported one person to the hospital. At 8:05 p.m., firefighters investigated a reported power line down at 308 South Walpole St. On Monday, July 2 at 12:28 a.m., EMS responded to 100 Hampton Road, and transported one person to the hospital. At 7:48 a.m., EMS responded to 51 Hixson Farm Road, and transported one person to the hospital. At 4:23 p.m., EMS responded, mutual aid, to 95 Washington St., and transported one person to the hospital. At 11:46 p.m., firefighters extinguished a passenger vehicle fire at North Main at Canton streets. On Tuesday, July 3 at 1:52 p.m., EMS responded to 259 Norwood St., and transported one person to the hospital. At 4:47 p.m., EMS responded, mutual aid, to 8 Swenson Road, Walpole, and provided first aid and checked for injuries. At 5:02 p.m., EMS responded to 30 Gunhouse St., and transported one person to the hospital. At 5:16 p.m., EMS responded to 140 Hampton Road, and transported one person to the hospital. At 9:15 p.m., EMS responded to 2 Pheasant Wood Road, and transported one person to the hospital. On Wednesday, July 4 at 1:04 p.m., EMS responded to 92 South Main St., and provided first aid and checked for injuries At 5:06 p.m., EMS responded to Bay Road at Chemung Street, and transported one person to the hospital. At 11:22 p.m., EMS responded to 10 West St., and provided first aid and checked for injuries. On Thursday, July 5 at 5:52 p.m., EMS responded to 51 Hixson Farm Road Unit 159, and transported one person to the hospital. At 6:06 p.m., firefighters responded to Post Office Square for a reported motor vehicle accident with injuries, and transported one person to the hospital. At 6:20 p.m., EMS responded to 6 Owl Drive, and provided first aid and checked for injuries. At 6:28 p.m., EMS responded to 51 Hixson Farm Road Unit 223, and transported one person to the hospital. At 8:11 p.m., EMS responded to 26 Heather Way, and provided first aid and checked for injuries. On Friday, July 6 at 7:13 a.m., EMS responded to 21 Hixson Farm Road Unit D, and transported one person to the hospital. On Saturday, July 7 at 3:15 p.m., EMS responded to 213 South Main St., and provided advanced life support. At 8:05 p.m., EMS responded to 407 Bay Road and transported one person to the hospital.
