Black Hawk Helicopter Part Of Sharon School Assembly

SHARON, MA – A black hawk helicopter will be part of a special assembly at the Cottage Street School on Thursday, June 15. The assembly will take place from 10-11:30 a.m. and the helicopter will land on the back field near the conclusion.

Families living close to Cottage will likely hear helicopter noise as the aircraft approaches. Residents should not be alarmed.

The focus of the assembly is not on the military personnel flying the helicopter, but rather "the people within our community who support the town in ways we may not see," administrative staff at Cottage wrote in an announcement.
