1 Step Closer 2 Home will host a 5K road race and Kids' Fun Run to benefit adoptions, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Nov. 5 at the New Testament Baptist Church and Christian School, 1 New Taunton Ave., Norton.
November is National Adoption Month. The proceeds will go towards building an adoption assistance fund to help families with adoption expenses.
Runners and walkers are welcomed. This is a family event. No pets are allowed.
