The annual Legislative Breakfast hosted by the Walpole
Council on Aging and the Norfolk South Regional Councils on Aging will be held Friday March 16 at the new Walpole Public Library, 143 School St., Walpole.
The breakfast will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a continental breakfast, followed at 9:30 a.m. with a review of local, regional and Massachusetts elder issues. Topics may include MBTA fares, funding for Councils on Aging (formula appropriation), SHINE, nutrition program funding and other concerns. Comments will be presented by Legislators and professionals from the elder network, and there will be a question and answer period.
