Moose Hill Wildlife Sanctuary Hosts August Events

The Massachusetts Audubon Society's Moose Hill Wildlife Sanctuary will hold the following events in August:

  • Free Star Party: 8:30 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3.  Join local astronomers for a look at stars and other night objects. Call Patti Austin at 781-784-5691 x8103 after 6 p.m. for a recorded message concerning the status of the program if the weather is questionable.
  • Owl Hoot: 8:30 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24. August is the time when juvenile owls are hooting it up at Moose Hill. Search for owls and other nocturnal animals during this relaxed evening walk. The program is for adults and children ages 9 and up. The cost is $6 to $9. Pre-registration is required.
