Author Speaking At Temple Kol Tikvah

After Shabbat services on Dec. 2, Temple Kol Tikvah of Sharon will host author Larry Tye, who will share his knowledge of Jewish immigrant life in Boston at the turn of the 20th century.

Tye served as the Boston Globe’s medical and environmental reporter, roving national writer, investigative reporter, and sports writer from 1986 to 2001. He has since written several books, including "Home Lands: Portraits of the New Jewish Diaspora," which looks at the renewal underway across the Jewish world, from Boston to Buenos Aires, Dusseldorf to Dnepropetrovsk.

Temple Kol Tikvah is in the midst of a semester-long exploration of "Coming to America," and this presentation is a special part of the congregation's learning.
