Borderland Holds Teddy Bear Picnic

Borderland State Park will hold a Teddy Bear Picnic from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 24.

Visitors are invited to bring a picnic supper, and a teddy bear or favorite stuffed animal and a lawn chair or blanket.

Tina Stone of Tina's Tunes and Tales will be singing, telling teddy bear tales.

This event will finish with the parade of teddy bears. There is a $2 per car parking fee at the main Massapoag entrance on the Easton/Sharon line.

Borderland State Park is located off Massapoag Avenue on the Easton/Sharon line. There is a parking fee of $2 per car payable at the yellow machine. Individuals over the age of 62 should visit the office in the Visitor Center for a free lifetime parking pass.
