Grateful Massage and Wellness is offering Zero Balancing therapy sessions by appointment only on Tuesdays until Feb. 21.
Zero Balancing is a body-mind therapy that uses skilled touch to address the relationship between energy and structures of the body. Following a protocol that typically lasts 30 to 45 minutes, the practitioner uses finger pressure and gentle traction on areas of tension in the bones, joints and soft tissue to create fulcrums, or points of balance, around which the body can relax and reorganize (* Zero Balancing Health Association). Clients receive Zero Balancing sessions while they are fully clothed.
Licensed and nationally certified practitioner Jonathan Goldberg is a candidate for certification in Zero Balancing, and must complete 50 additional clinic sessions, documenting these sessions and submitting these anonymous case studies for review by his mentor.
