Father Bullock Charity Race Is June 12

The 7th Annual Father Bullock Memorial Charity Road Race will be held at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, June 12 at the Cottage Street School.

The kids’ race is at 5:30 p.m. and the main race/walk is at 5:45 p.m.

Proceeds from the race support Facing History and Ourselves, an educational organization dedicated to erasing bigotry and nurturing democracy around the world.  Father Robert Bullock was the former pastor of Our Lady of Sorrows Church and was actively involved in this organization.  Widely known as a teacher and scholar, he touched the lives of students and educators alike.

The first 175 runners/walkers will receive a T-shirt, and all participants will enjoy a post-race party with food and drinks.  The race is also the first in the 2011 Red Fox Run Series.  Visit www.fatherbullockcharityrace.com to download and print the application or register online.
