Unitarian Church Hosts 'All Things Bright And Musical' Holiday Concert

"All Things Bright And Musical," a free community holiday concert, will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16 at the Unitarian Church of Sharon. 

The concert will feature local school age students from the Sharon, Easton, Norfolk, Mansfield and Brockton middle schools and high schools.

The DelGiudice Vocal Arts Academy is sponsoring the event.

The program will feature a selection of holiday season spirituals, viola sonata, and virtuostic piano solos performed by student and professional soloists, opera singers, choir students, and a 17-year-old viola soloist on National Public Radio's "From the Top" at the DelGiudice Vocal Arts Academy.

Among the selections will be: "Joyful Joyful," from Sister Act 2; "Fix Me Jesus"; "Al Shlosha Devarim"; "Wade in the Water" and "Sometimes I Feel like a Motherless Child."

Donations will help support rental and event expenses in DVAA's spring children’s opera production of "The Little Prince" by Rachel Portman.

The concert will be followed by a small reception in the lower level.
