The Sharon Public Library will host the early literacy workshop "Help Me Get Ready to Read" from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 5.
Workshop presenters Susan Marx, B.S.Ed, M.A. and Barbara Kasok, B.S.Ed. will show parents, grandparents and caregivers how to raise reading-ready children who love books and learning. They will demonstrate how to use parenting strategies and reading strategies to read aloud effectively to young children. Marx and Kasok are authors of the book "Help Me Get Ready to Read," which is available for checkout at the Sharon Public Library. More information is found at www.readaloudguide.com.
