Herb Chambers Kicks into Overdrive for Final “Cars and Coffee” Event of the Season

The Herb Chambers Companies is concluding a successful series of "Cars and Coffee" events with a bang. Chambers has secured some very unique vehicles and special guests to help conclude the first full season of informal meet-ups amongst car enthusiasts.

In April, Herb Chambers began regularly hosting "Cars and Coffee" events at different dealership locations on the second Saturday of each month.  The events have been very successful with solid attendance from car enthusiasts throughout New England.

On Saturday October 9th, Chambers will bring the early morning meet up of classic, vintage and specialty cars from all over New England back to his Lexus of Sharon dealership located at 25 Providence Highway on Route 1.  Car enthusiasts are invited to gather at the dealership, and showcase their pride and joys while admiring the prized hardware of other automotive fanatics.

In addition to the excitement of the local cars gathered, this month Herb Chambers has upped the anti and is bringing in Ferrari Expert and the host of the Discovery Channel's "Chasing Classic Cars," Wayne Carini who will be in attendance from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., along with Herb Chambers Companies customer and Boston Red Sox first baseman Kevin Youkilis who will be in attendance from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Also on display will be the work of Ted Mikulski, a professional artist and author from Central Connecticut, who will feature ART CAR, a Nissan 350z with a hand drawn custom video game themed paint job that will blow the minds of any one who catches a glimpse.  The vehicle took about 160 hours over the span of 11 days to complete, and was debuted at the New Britain Museum of American Art in July and recently shown at Umbrella Art Gallery in New York City.
