Joslin Diabetes Center Hosts an 'Evening at Pops'

The Joslin Diabetes Center presents an "Evening at Pops" at 8 p.m. May 11 at Boston's Symphony Hall.

The Boston Pops will feature the music of George Gershwin.

All proceeds from the evening will support Joslin's focus on diabetes and its High Hopes Fund. The High Hopes Fund supports Joslin's integration of cutting-edge research toward a cure, as well as clinical care and education for those living with diabetes and their families.

The Joslin Diabetes Center will honor North End restaurateur Carla Gomes for her work and dedication to cure diabetes through the annual CityFeast.
