Mansfield SportsPlex Hosting Eighth-Grade Hoops All-Star Games

The Mansfield SportsPlex, 31 Oxford Road, Mansfield will host the 2011 Select Hoops Showcase on March 26.

The M-Plex/Select Hoops Showcase is an all-star game featuring the 25 best male eighth-graders and the 25 best female eighth-graders in Southeastern Massachusetts.

Select Hoops is a service that provides media coverage and lists local tournaments for fourth- through eighth-grade travel basketball in Eastern Massachusetts. 

The girls game will tip off at 5 p.m. and feature players from Foxboro, Franklin, Canton, Newton, Norton, Wrentham, Abington, Walpole, Plainville, Sharon, Millis, North Attleboro, Brookline, Rehoboth and Medfield.

The boys’ game will tip off at 7 p.m. and feature players from Mansfield, Easton, Sandwich, Brookline, Westwood, Medfield, Yarmouth, Newton, Natick, Braintree, North Attleboro, Walpole, Raynham, Sharon and Plymouth.
