Neponset River Watershed Director Gives Next Conversation At The Meetinghouse

The next Conversation at the Meetinghouse will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6 at the Unitarian Church of Sharon.

Ian Cooke, director of the Neponset River Watershed Association, will discuss water quality, restoration of the Neponset River Watershed and related topics. Prior to the settlement of Massachusetts by the English, the river system supported the migratory shad that traveled from Boston Harbor to Lake Massapoag.

The program is free and open to the public.
