Sharon COA Offering Job Program

The Sharon Adult Center and Council on Aging will offer the Massachusetts Wisdom Works program in September. Job seekers age 50 or older, who are or will be looking for work, can participate.

The four two-hour sessions are led by experienced career coaches. Job search techniques training helps adults update and reshape their resume’, understand how to use social connections, and how to deal with questions about being overqualified.

The next session is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8; Tuesday, Sept. 13; Wednesday, Sept. 14; and Tuesday, Sept. 20.

The cost for the course materials is $15. Call the Adult Center at 781-784-8000 for additional information or to register. An evening session is planned in September.
