Work by members of the Sharon Creative Arts Association will be on display at the Lakeside Gallery at the Sharon Adult Center and Council on Aging from April 3 to May 31.
A wide variety of fine art and contemporary craft, including mixed media, work in oils, watercolor, glass, photography, fiber, pen and ink, and mixed media will be included.
Local artists exhibiting include Dina Hirschkorn, an association member for about five years. She makes jewelry and works in mixed media. Cathy Clay, a member for more than 20 years, has mainly expressed herself artistically in textiles. She makes hooked rugs and art quilts.
The opening reception is from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 11.
The gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Wednesday; Thursday until 8 p.m.; Friday until noon; and other evenings by appointment. For more information, call the Sharon Adult Center at 781-784-8000.
