Sharon High Alum Performing Solo Flute Recital

The Sharon Performing Artists Association will hold a solo flute recital at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22 at the Unitarian Church of Sharon.

Johanna Borenstein (Sharon High Class of 1999) will perform works by Vivaldi, Schubert, Barber and Hue. Her accompanist is Yi-Chen Yeh of Canton.   

After graduating Sharon High School, Johanna went on to garner three degrees in music, and is now a freelance musician and teacher in Los Angeles, Calif.

Admission is $12 adults, $8 for seniors age 65 and older,  and $6 for children. The proceeds will benefit the SPAA scholarship fund.
