The Sharon Recreation Swim Team, the Sea Eagles, will hold registration for the coming season from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5 at O'Connell Hall, Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, 59 Cottage St.
Participation is open to children ages 6 to 18 (by Nov.1, 2011). Children must be able to swim 25 yards of freestyle and backstroke. This is a competitive swim team with a minimum of five Saturday swim meets; meet participation is required. The season runs from late October through mid-March, with practices held every Saturday and Sunday. Due to pool safety issues, the number of swimmers may need to be limited.
The registration fee is $150 for the first and second child in a family and $100 for every child thereafter. Team swimsuit measurements and orders will be taken at registration. There is an additional charge for the team swimsuit. Team apparel will also be available. Cash and checks are accepted.
