The Sharon Recreation Swim Team, the Sea Eagles, will be holding registration for the coming season on Wednesday, October 3 from 6:30 to 8pm at O’Connell Hall, Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, 59 Cottage Street, Sharon. Participation is open to children ages 6 to 18 (on November 1, 2012). Children must be able to swim 25 yards of freestyle and backstroke. This is a competitive swim team with a minimum of 5 Saturday swim meets; meet participation is required. The season runs from late October through mid-March, with practices held every Saturday and Sunday. Due to pool safety issues, the number of swimmers may need to be limited. Team swimsuit measurements and orders will be taken at registration. There is an additional charge for the team swimsuit. Team apparel will also be available for sale. Cash or checks accepted.
