Still Life Drawing Workshop Offered

A Still Life Drawing Workshop will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 28 at the Moose Hill Wildlife Sanctuary. The registration fee is $25 to $30. The class size is limited. Participants will learn still life drawing techniques as taught by artist and museum teacher Farnaz Mobayyen. Students, both beginners and intermediate, will explore and draw the still life using blind contour, contour and gesture drawing. A finished drawing using these methods plus shading will be created by each student during this class. Students must bring their own materials:graphite pencils, chuck or oil pastels, and drawing paper. A better and thicker paper, not larger than 16 x 20 inches, is needed for the finished drawing.
