Sturdy Offering Hatha Yoga Course

The Sturdy Memorial Hospital Nursing Education Department will sponsor a six-week hatha yoga course starting Wednesday, Jan. 11.

The program is open to the public.

Certified hatha yoga instructor Mary Welton will present the program, which is designed to help decrease stress and anxiety, increase flexibility and relaxation, and to enhance one's overall feeling of wellness. 

The course will be offered in two sessions, at 4 to 5 p.m. or 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. in Sturdy's Clinical Education Center, in the main lobby at Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

The cost of the program is $65. Pre-registration is necessary. Participants must bring ay oga mat and/or towel with them to each class. For more information or to register, call 508-236-7161.
