Un-Common Theatre Presents Anne Frank Play

The Un-Common Theatre Company will present "And Then They Came for Me: Remembering the World of Anne Frank" at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Orpheum Theatre in Foxborough.

The show is recommended for audiences ages 8 and older.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for seniors and students.

The multimedia play combines videotaped interviews with Holocaust survivors Ed Silverberg and Eva Schloss and live actors recreating scenes from their lives during World War II.

Ed (Ethan Hermanson) was Anne Frank's first boyfriend, and she wrote about him in the beginning of her now-famous diary. Eva Schloss (Sydney MacKillop) was the same age as Anne Frank (Franci DuMar) and lived in the same apartment building in Amsterdam. Her family went into hiding the same day as the Frank family and, like the Frank family, they were betrayed. On Eva's 15th birthday, her family was arrested by the Nazis and sent to concentration camps. P

The 17-member cast of 17 is guided by Director Christa Crewdson and Assistant Director Matthew Timmons.

Sharon resident Georgia Rose Fraser is in the Ensemble.
