'Why Are My Taxes So High?" Focus of Next 'Conversations'

Anne Carney will present "Why Are My Taxes So High?" the latest of the Conversations at the Meetinghouse, at 7 p.m. Friday, April 13 at the Unitarian Church of Sharon.

Carney worked for the Town of Easton as the assistant assessor for 27 years.

Among other topics, she will talk about where Sharon ranks in taxes per household and how recent overrides impact the tax rate. What impact does a home improvement project have? How does state law impact one's taxes? How does one challenge their tax bill?
