Sondheim, who retired last year, died Monday, according to reports Tuesday morning.

Robert Sondheim, Sharon's former Athletic Director, died Monday, according to an announcement on the Sharon Public Schools website Tuesday morning.

The cause of death was not immediately clear Tuesday.
