Jeep Flips Over in Sharon Cranberry Bogs, Trespassing Charges for Driver and Passenger
Sharon police responded after receiving a report of a flipped car in the bogs.

A Sharon resident in his friend have been charged trespassing after driving into the cranberry bogs on South Main Street across from Shaw’s.
A little after 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon, Sharon police responded to the area for a car that flipped over into the bogs.
When police arrived, they discovered the owner of the vehicle, his friend, and his dog stuck in the Jeep. The driver of the Jeep then told police that they were looking for deer when the accident happened according to the Sharon Police Facebook page.

The two men were taken to Norwood Hospital for minor injuries.
To get into the bogs, a vehicle would have to avoid a gate designed to keep people and cars out of the area, leading to the tresspassing charge.

“Not only did the jeep overturn in the bogs, but now both individuals (we will let the dog pass) will be charged with trespassing,” police wrote on Facebook.
