Local Man Profiled for Helping Others

He’s the one to open up Maxi’s in Stoughton, but he’s not an employee. When he shows up to the Sharon Fire Department, he does not arrive empty handed.

On Thursday, WCVB profiled 89-year-old Robert Lindberg, who is known around Stoughton and Sharon as “Lindy.”

Those interviewed had nothing but kind stories about Lindy from flowers for a new employee at Maxi’s, to shoveling driveways, and raking leaves.

The profile was part of Ed Harding’s series known as Harding’s Heroes, a series where people who don’t make the headlines but deserve recognition are profiled.
