Woodpeckers

Do woodpeckers eat wood? Does all that banging give them a headache? Discover the answers to these questions and more! Search for these fascinating birds at our bird feeding station and while on a short hike. A art project will complete the adventure. Thursday 10-11:30 am and 1-2:30 pm mbr $9 nonmbr $12

Preschool Science

Try your hand at several messy and fun experiments during this all indoor program. Make a gooey sub­stance, experiment with magnets, determine which objects will float or sink, and much more during this hands-on class. Wed. 10-11:30 am and 1-2:30 pm mbr $9 nonmbr $12

Nature Treasure Boxes

Decorate a special box to hold your treasures from nature. A short hike will be included to look for "gifts" from nature (small stones, leaves, sticks and other items that can fit in the treasure box). Items too big or living are taken home as treasured memories. Thurs. Dec. 15th 10-11:30am and 1-2:30pm mbr $9 nonmbr $12

Welcome Winter

What does winter look like? Smell like? Feel like? Use your senses to discover the meaning of winter. Stories and outdoor exploration combined with indoor games will be featured. Hot chocolate will warm us after wel­coming winter to Moose Hill. Wed. Dec 21st 10-11:30am and 1-2:30pm mbr $9 nonmbr $12
