Moose Hill Celebrates 100 Years

Moose Hill Celebrates 100 Years with A Fireside Chat

Join us for a Fireside Chat, April 7th, to hear David Clapp share fascinating stories and memories about Mass Audubon’s Moose Hill. These chats are part of our “Centennial Series” looking at Moose Hill throughout the years. David grew up in Sharon, was one of the very first campers at Moose Hill, became the Sanctuary Director in the 70’s, began the maple sugaring program and so much more. David contributed significantly to the growth of Moose Hill: from teaching in the school system for Mass Audubon, leading weekly bird walks, hosting Larry Newcomb as he developed his Wildlflower Guide, working to create an acquisition plan for protecting the lands on the hill to starting new programs, there is an abundance of stories to share. Who knows which direction the conversation will go in and what interesting stories will be shared by the audience. The chat will be 7-9PM. To register, please visit www.massaudubon.org/moosehillprograms or call 781-784-5691 for details. Moose Hill is located at 293 Moose Hill Parkway, Sharon, MA.
