CLOSURES AND UPDATES: No School in Sharon Monday

Due to the expected snowstorm, the Sharon Public Schools will be closed Monday.

SHARON, MA - Just as there was snow to end last week, Sharon is now preparing for up to 12 inches of snow to start the new week. Below is a list of closures and updates from the storm.

NO SCHOOL

TREE SHUTS DOWN ROAD

As of 9 a.m., Norwood Street between Beaver Brook Road and Bullard Street is blocked off due to issues stemming from a downed tree. The Sharon Police Department said on Facebook that they expect more during the day.

COURT IS NOT IN SESSION

Stoughton District Court and all Norfolk County courthouses will remain closed Monday

TOWN HALL IS CLOSED

Due to the snowstorm, all town offices, including the Sharon Public Library, will be closed.

STAY INSIDE IF YOU CAN

The Sharon Fire Department is asking residents to make every effort to stay inside for the next 24 hours to allow the DPW to clean the roads and public safety officials to respond to emergencies.

Anyone who needs a warm place Tuesday should plan on using the Sharon Public Library as a warming center during their regular hours of 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Additional resources will be made available if necessary.
