Despite a tough effort Tuesday afternoon, the Sharon Eagles girls' soccer team could not overcome the King Philip Warriors, falling 3-0.
The Eagles are now 1-2 and will try to return to .500 against Stoughton on Sept. 18.
The Eagles were able to hold off KP until a goal from Haley Keegan in the 14th minute. Makenzie Nickerson went top shelf from 20 yards out late in the first half to give KP a 2-0 lead at the half.
Keegan picked up her second goal in the 45th minute to lock up a Warriors' victory.
