Aug. 10

12:42 p.m. - A motor vehicle accident was reported at Norwood Street and Route 95.

1:37 p.m. - Tailgaters were reported in a parking lot on Route One.

1:58 p.m. - Suspicious activity at the intersection of Hampton Road and Oak Hill Drive was reported after the calling party said they heard one gun shot.

3:26 p.m. - An officer reported a motor vehicle accident on Depot Street.

Aug. 11

5:28 p.m. - A motor vehicle accident was reported on Moose Hill Parkway.

6:54 p.m. - Smoke was reported in a building on Avalon Drive.

9:09 p.m. - A person in a red pickup was reported trying to breaking into motor vehicles on Lake Avenue.

10:43 p.m. - A noise complaint was received from Bayberry Street.

11:28 p.m. - A group of kids walking towards the beach near camp on Lakeview Street was reported as suspicious activity.

2:22 a.m. - A suspicious motor vehicle parked in a back lot on Bay Road was reported.

3:41 a.m. - Sharon Police assisted Sharon Fire after the smell of smoke near the intersection of North Main and Maskwonicut Streets was reported.

10:57 p.m. - A noise complain for noise from the playground behind the Cottage Street School was received.

11:22 p.m. - Police spoke to a suspicious party at the intersection of Shaw‘s Plaza Place and South Main Street.
